EPRC

The European Policies Research Centre (EPRC) has extensive competence and experience in comparative research on regional problems and policies in Europe and on the evaluation of Structural Funds programmes and projects within the EU, as well as a wide range of other regional policy and regional planning studies. EPRC has an interdisciplinary staff of who specialise in economics, geography, public policy, planning and law. Based in Glasgow, Scotland, it has alliances with partner institutes throughout Europe through the IQ-Net and EoRPA policy research networks. Prof John Bachtler is the director of the EPRC. For the delivery of the BioSTEP project, EPRC is joined by Professor David Charles, Deputy Head of the Lincoln Business School at the University of Lincoln and former Research Chair at EPRC. David Charles has substantial research experience in European regional innovation policy, innovative clusters and innovation management.
